Safety First: Riding With Confidence in Baja

Trusted Experience

Safety isn’t an afterthought—it’s the cornerstone of every tour we run. For almost 30 years, we’ve been guiding riders through Baja’s best landscapes with absolutely no safety incidents or concerns. Owner and lead guide Bruce has built deep roots here over 26 years, forging lasting relationships with local communities. That trust allows us to operate only in the safest areas, backed by known and vetted partners in each town.

Vetted Accommodations
& Communities

Every hotel, restaurant, and stop on our trips has been used for decades—not just for convenience, but for safety. We stay in beacheside hotels, cozy mountain lodges, and friendly towns where we, Bruce and the team, are known and welcomed. Each stop is selected not only for comfort but for the peace of mind of our riders.

Trusted Trails

Every trail we ride has been previously scouted by Bruce. We never deviate from what’s been mapped, tested, and proven. On the trail, we run satellite communication devices—not just radios. If anything unexpected happens, help is a button away.

Community Ties

Bruce is more than a guide—he’s a past resident and respected figure across Baja. His relationships with local authorities, business owners, and families mean we're welcomed, supported, and always well-informed about local conditions. That network allows us to operate confidently in towns that outsiders might unknowingly skip.

Safety Advisory

The U.S. State Department currently advises travelers to “exercise increased caution” in Baja California Sur—similar to many popular European destinations. Meanwhile, Baja California, up north, carries a stronger warning to use caution due to localized risks. These advisories reflect broad, regional-level guidance, not the micro-local realities of our tour areas, which remain stable and safe. Violent crime in tourist zones is extremely rare. Tourists and tour groups like ours are not, and have never been, targets.
